During keyword analysis, instead of writing articles on hard to rank, high keyword difficulty keywords, you instead aim for, medium keyword difficulty keywords, which have low competition.

A good rule of thumb, is search for the question query on google search engine, and see whether you can write a better article that the available answers online.

After finding a low hanging fruit keyword. T

The next logically step, will be to write a new blog post, that effectively answers the low hanging question query, from all direction.

You have to aim for 1500+ word articles, that completely covers the question queries, from all angles, depending on your niche.

Some website niches, might even require your article to be above 2000 words, and in some cases above 3000 words.

Just make sure the article is quite bulky, so google can be a little bit happy with you.

C. Make Sure you Answer the Question Query

After writing an answer for a low hanging fruit keyword question query, your keyword must have achieved the aim of answering that question.

Meaning, after a reader reads your article, they will be beyond any reasonable doubt, be satisfied with the answer you have given them.

D. Have External Reference Links

This is a hidden SEO tactics used by many SEO gurus. That is, abusing the importance of external backlinks.

Google crawler is a bot. As such, it doesn’t see articles the way humans see articles.

For this reason, it interprets external links as a way of vetting a website, most especially if you have a reference section on your article.

I normally aim to have a reference section on my articles to give unto Caesar (google crawler), what belongs to Caesar.

In return, I get crumbs of traffic from google bot.

E. Have Internal Reference Link

Internal links are also important for SEO. They improve the flow of your articles, and help website visitors navigate between your articles.

Internal links are also know to reduce the bounce rate of your website visitors, a google ranking factor, that helps to boost the visibility of your website articles.

F. Have Images in Articles

Many online search engine optimization experts, completely ignore the need to input image into their articles, as such their image SEO suffers tremendously on search engines.

Who is to blame them though, writing a blog post is already hard enough. By the time most bloggers finish writing an article, the next thing on their minds, is to hit the publish button.

Nobody thinks about going through the trouble of painstakingly adding images into their blog posts.

As such, most bloggers just say “torch it”, and push the publish button. I also I am guilty of this, since researching articles can take day.

Then comes the time to create the article recipe, then combining the ingredients, which can take almost a week to write a killer 2000 word article.

But putting images in your article is important, if you truly want to rank your website.

G. Submit Article in Search Console

These days, google is on lapses, and sometimes, they don’t crawl websites fast enough. As such, articles published, can stay for days, without being indexed by google bots, which can be bad for website visitors.

Try to manually submit articles in search console, so they can get crawled and ranked quickly.

F. Add Image Alt Tags

Less I forget. Adding alt tags is very important these days to make search engines better understand the image in your articles.

This is also an important step in image SEO.

When you upload an image, you can simply add the image alt tag, so search engine can be able to know the image.

G. Adjust Meta Tag

The meta tag of your article is very important, as it tells search engines what your article is about.

Choosing the proper meta tag is the difference between ranking a website article and tanking the article. As such, you must sit down, and properly research a conducive meta tag for your website article.

H. Remove Meta Description

Removing meta description is important in this day and age, so that google can use its artificial intelligence (AI), to premptively create a proper search engine optimized meta tag.

Factors Affecting Consideration of Low Hanging Fruit Keywords

Low hanging fruit keywords have factors that affect the determination of what is considered a low hanging fruit keyword.

For example, Brain Dean of backlinko, or Neil Patel, can consider a medium to high difficulty keyword a low hanging fruit, because of the authority of their domain.

But you as an unknown blogger, cannot consider that same keyword a low hanging fruit.

This is because his domain has gained credibility over years of research, and backlinks. So search engines will always give his website benefit of doubt, than your unknown blog, even though, your website might have a better article than his blog.

As such, you have to keep this in mind, when hunting for low hanging fruit keywords.

So therefore, if you are an unknown blogger, you are better off hunting for low search volume, and low competition keywords.

If you are a medium blogger, you can go for the medium competition keywords, and if you are a top recognized blogger, you can go for top keywords.

Nevertheless, the above are just guidelines, there is no point going for keywords with 0 search volume, and low competition, because, nobody will visit your website.

Instead try to hunt down keywords with substantial search volume, so you can get quickly ranked, and start receiving traffic from google, and grow your online business rapidly.
